SOFTWARE ENGINEERING GLOBAL INTERACTION LAB

I am a Master of Computer Science student at University of Victoria. I hold a BSc degree in Information Technology from Amirkabir University of Technology. I joined SEGAL Lab in September 2015 to start my MSc program and research.

My research is focused on helping software team managers and analysts plan their future projects more effectively. In a large software company like IBM, different teams are working on a variety of projects and tasks in parallel and many other projects have been completed so far. There’s a lot of useful historical data about completed projects including attributes of those projects and their tasks as well as people who were working on them and their relationships. I explore those historical data and apply data mining techniques on them to provide useful information which help team managers make better plans for next projects.
